One West Magazine is here with the newest Westcoast female Dancehall artist/songwriter to burst onto the scene, Ms. Cheekz. Ms. Cheekz recently just dropped a video for her heated remix to Rihanna's "Pour It Up" entitled "Smoke It Up". Her music has been buzzing all over the streets which has started raising eyebrows across the entertainment industry.

She began performing in the early 90's as a cultural dancer. Her dance experience took her all over California, performing dances from many parts of the world including dances from Jamaica, Trinidad, Brazil, Africa and Spain. 

Ms. Cheekz studied and performed as a cultural dance performer for over 13 years. Her on stage dance performances helped to prepare and mold her in her journey as a dancehall artist.
Throughout childhood Ms. Cheekz was multifaceted which caused her to be active in many categories of the arts. Band, painting, poetry, dance and theater. She also went on to study music and dance in college. Her talents developed as she grew into adulthood. She began to expose her lyric writing skills by request of a friend. After doing so, she was urged to take music more seriously and since then Ms. Cheekz the artist quickly developed. After only a few months, Ms. Cheekz dancehall career blossomed. She has since then opened for various reggae artist and is quickly becoming a must see artist.

Cheekz is a believer on self branding and has worked many projects under the Chkz/Cheekz name. Her abilities as a songwriter is contributing greatly to the growth of the Cheekz name. She has written lyrics to songs in genre's like, jazz, rock, metal, country, r&b, reggae, soca and hip-hop. She continues to develop into a versatile artist that can compete in man levels of music performance.

Cheekz is an entrepreneur and is also known as a photographer, writer, owner of her own online magazine and a long time massage therapist. She is the creator and owner of a private food delivery service, based in California. Her service was featured on popular radio stations and serviced various entertainers. 

Cheekz was featured on KDAY fm radio in Los Angeles during their celebrity takeover in which she cooked for celebrities like female MC Yo~Yo.
