Emcees Give Back Annual Toy/Clothes Drive Coming Up Soon..!!

   

     Are you an MC that wants to give back to the community?? This is a great opportunity for you to do just that. There is never a better feeling than to do for others in need. "Emcees Give Back" is having an annual TOY DRIVE coming soon and are looking for Emcees to donate your music, posters, stickers, etc. for the cause.      Emcees Give Back is a nonprofit organization created to provide assistance for families with toys, clothing, food and gift cards during the holiday season. They help provide help to low-income families in the City of Los Angeles and surrounding communities. It's goal is to show that you don't have to be wealthy to help and care.

     Emcees Give Back was birthed in 2009. In there first few years they provided aid to at least 75 families and over 100 children.

They have helped several families through some rough circumstances:

- family lost their home in a fire,

-grandfather raising six of his teenage grandchildren

-sister raising her teenage brother.

-father lost his job and wife hours were cut down to part time

-single father raising six children and all he was asking for was under clothes for his kids.

-20yrs old son taking care of his mother and two sisters after the mother had a stroke and couldn't work.

     By donating to Emcees Give Back you will be helping them give aid to families like the ones mention above and more. They provide them with basic items like clothes, toys, gift cards and food. They are trying to increase there efforts and they need your help. Whatever you can provide would be greatly appreciated by the families and Emcees Give Back.

HERE ARE SOME IMPORTANT DATES:

OCTOBER 20, 2013: THE LAST DAY TO SUBMIT MUSIC FOR THE GIVE AWAY
OCTOBER 31, 2013: THE LAST DAY TO TURN IN YOUR APPLICATION FOR FAMILIES IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE( THE APPLICATIONS ARE GIVING UPON REQUEST)
DECEMBER 7, 2013: EMCEES GIVE BACK DAY: THIS IS THE DAY THEY WILL BE GIVING OUT THE CDS IN EXCHANGE FOR TOYS

DECEMBER 14TH" THE DAY THEY WILL BE GIVING THE GIFTS TO THE FAMILIES.
